Randy Reed was a local artist who recently lost his battle with cancer. He was a wonderful friend and is greatly missed at Calico.
Intarsia is a meticulous medium using the natural colors and grains of wood to form a three dimensional picture. Randy used no stains or coloring on the wood, everything was natural. Randy did excellent scroll work and had perfected the art of crating portraits out of wood. His work is no longer available, but please feel free to browse at the beautiful pieces this master artisan created.
